We became established as an independent estate in 1973. This independence gave us the freedom to express our convictions of respect for the environment, man and nature.
Our champagnes are the result of the responsible choices we have made to look after the nature around us and the men and women who accompany us on our journey, to offer our customers and distributors champagnes that are ethical and authentic.

A VILLAGE IN CHAMPAGNE
Fontaine-Denis and the Collet family share a long history. Originally named Fons Dionisii (the fountain of the god of wine) in the 14th century, the village of Fontaine-Denis has for a thousand years epitomised the tradition of the vine and wine.
EXPERTISE
Domaine Collet can trace its origins back to 1973 when our father took over the estate and gradually built up the vineyards from a few hundred square metres to the six hectares we work today. Our current mosaic of plots produces a unique range of wines which express the tipicity of our terroir.
Exploring nuances
Close to a forest of century-old oak trees (La Traconne), it was logic for us to offer our wines the most beautiful settings.
Our cellar is as big as our desire to explore: 6 oak tank of 2500 liters, 6 demi-muids of 600 liters, 2 muids of 1200 liters, 70 barrels of 300 liters.
One desire, to achieve the finest aging on lees, to manipulate our wines as little as possible for a true and authentic expression of our terroir.
